It all began with a shaggy-dog tale.

Established in 2014, Vind & Våg (Wind & Wave)Publishing was founded by Jules Rees Nilsson who moved from London with her family to a small peninsular in Southern Sweden. It was this relocation and acquisition of a much loved, though rather badly behaved schnauzer, which led to a new appreciation of nature, long costal walks and new companions.

The Hounds of Falsterbo was a highly successful first encounter with publishing. It led to other projects and authors reaching out to work alongside Jules and her team of fabulous art directors, translators and printers in Sweden.

When not dog walking on beaches or publishing books Jules can be found at her gallery, the Nordic Art Agency in Malmö.
